I'm itching to write, but I think I'm scared of writing. I have these pretty cool ideas, but putting thoughts to paper doesn't work very well. I've been fangirling over the Olympics for the past few days. Yeah, a lot of the athletes don't get coverage or have all that great of a shot for a medal, but fuck... it's the Olympics. Sports just remakes me about gladiators. They put their lives on the line in physical contests to not only prove who is the best but to entertain us. Some people just love the thrill of danger, even if it does kill them. That's probably why some people avoid sports but it is there and it is still popular worldwide. I am not a follower of the Olympics but it does seem to be special to some (probably though who have family members in there).

Your writing ideas seems OK and I hope that you expand on it.

I fangirl the Olympics, and I don't really know why. I hadn't really thought about the gladiator connection... It makes sense, minus the fact that not all gladiators were willing participants. I think it's pretty sweet that some people can be so talented in an area, like sports or whatnot.

I like your writing idea. Would you blur the line of reality and dream for the reader or is that something that just the main character goes through? Seems like a really challenging idea but if you can pull it off I think it'd be great; it's an intriguing premise.

I think you should write ^^ Try the freewriters community if it intimidates you; the rules there are you just have to write it and post it ^^ But I think writing should just be about expression; if you have ideas, that's all you need :) Go for it :D

Britain only won one gold medal in the Winter Olympics, XD. And I swear most of us didn't even know what the skeleton bob was.

The idea is very spiffy~ I like it :)

I find when I properly plan things out, I get so bogged down in details that actually writing it seems boring.
