Taking a deep breath, Hikaru counted to ten and closed his eyes. When he opened them, Koyama-kun was still running around like a chicken with his head cut off, while the other juniors continued to struggle getting into their costumes.
Today was the first day of the rest of his life, or at least that's what Kato-kun said to him earlier. But today, today, he will be performing on Ya-Ya-yah for the first time, as a part of the actual group, and not just a random back up dancer.
To say Hikaru was scared would be an understatement. He was on the verge of tears, possibly a nervous breakdown and the urge to just run away was becoming stronger by the second.
"Ne, Yaotome-kun!" Koyama-kun ran over to him, shaking his shoulders, "What are you doing, you're about to go on! Now go, damnit!"
Hikaru nodded and ran over towards Yabu, who gave him a big smile and said, "Don't be nervous, Hikachii! You'll do fine, and if you don't, well then I'll just make a mistake too. That way, we'll look stupid together!"
Quite possibly the oddest form of encouragement Hikaru has ever gotten, but none-the-less, with a deep breath and a count to ten, Hikaru pushed his fears aside and ran out onto the stage.

"Hmmm," Hikaru hummed, a hand stroking his chin as he starred at the incredibly large roller coaster in front of him, "So I know I said I would ride it with you, but actually, I think I won't."
"What? No way!" Chinen pouted and stomped his foot, "Yaotome Hikaru, you bastard you promised me! You break this promise and I will never, ever trust you again!"
"Hey, watch your language young man!" Hikaru scolded Chinen who just stuck out his tongue, "Look, I'm sorry but c'mon, that thing has seven flips in it!" Hikaru whined, sticking out his lower lip and using the puppy eyes, "Please Chii, it's too scary!"
"Let me think about it," Chinen paused, "Nope, you promised!" quickly, Chinen grabbed Hikaru's hand and dragged him into the line, which unfortunately for Hikaru was only ten minutes long. Soon they were strapped into a cart, Chinen practically vibrating with excitement while Hikaru took deep breaths, his eyes squeezed shut.
"Oh my God this is going to be awesome!" Chinen screamed as the ride started, and before Hikaru could even scream they were doing one flip after another.

"C'mon guys, I'm bored." Hikaru stated, grabbing Inno and Daiki's hands, "Let's go exploring!"
"I don't like exploring, exploring is scary," Inoo whined, which made Daiki laughed as he pinched Inoo's cheeks, "Awe, is Inoo a scared wittle girl? Poor wittle Inoo-chan!" Hikaru and Daiki laughed, while Inoo glared angrily at them, "Ne, shut up midget!"
Now it was Daiki's turn to glare, and Hikaru continued to laugh, that is until they heard a loud and eerie creak ahead of them.
"Um, can we go back to the others now?" Inoo asked but Hikaru just shushed him, running over to where the noise came from. Once Daiki caught up with Hikaru, his hand holding Inoo's wrist with a vice-like grip, Hikaru said, "The eerie noise came from behind this door. Dare we explore further, my fellow adventurers?"
"We dare," Daiki said at the exact time Inoo cried out, "No!".
"Two out of three, sorry Inoo-chan," Hikaru smiled and opened the door, the room inside of it completely pitch black, "Alright gentlemen, let's go!"
The three entered the room (well, they dragged Inoo kicking and screaming) and began feeling along the walls, hoping to find a light switch. Hikaru thought he found one when he suddenly tripped, over what felt like someone's foot.
"Ne, Inoo you jerk, I know you're scared but you didn't have to trip me!" Hikaru yelled, picking himself up.
"What, I didn't trip you. I'm over with Daiki!"
"Wait, Inoo you're over there? I thought you were...OH FUCK!"
"Let's get out of here!" The three ran for the door screaming, Hikaru slamming it shut behind him. When they left, the light turned on and there stood Takaki, Yamada and Yuto, giggling like mad.
"We scared them good!" Yuto said, high-fiving Takaki and Yamada.

When Hikaru ran into the dressing room screaming, "Quick hide me!" Ryutaro sighed and shoved Hikaru into the closet, before going back to his manga.
The door opened again and this time Nishikido ran in, his usual dark and menacing aura around him. "Where's Yaotome?" he asked, his glare boring holes into Ryutaro.
Ryutaro wasn't fazed though, as he just shrugged and said, "He's probably hanging out with Shoon and Yabu somewhere."
Nishikido nodded and ran off, slamming the door behind. When he left, Hikaru stepped out of the closet and collapsed onto the couch.
"Do I even want to know?" Ryutaro asked and Hikaru just shook his head, curling up into a small, terrified ball.
Ryutaro shrugged and continued to read his manga.

Taking off his shoes, he looks over at Yabu with a giddy grin, "I can't believe Koyama-kun invited us over. And Yamashita-kun is supposed to be here later, too! This is so cool..."
"By the way, I forgot to ask, why does Nishikido-kun want you dead?" Yabu asked but Hikaru just shook his head, "Let's just say I found a certain Osakan making out with a certain pretty boy he pretended to hate but actually does kinda hate but he must not really hate cause he was making out with him in a closet. Basically."
Yabu nodded before turning his attention to Koyama-kun, who beckoned them into the dining room, "Yamapi is gonna be a little late, so he told us to start without him. So, dig in!" Koyama-kun smiled, and all three settled down to eat.
"Koyama-kun, this is really good!" Hikaru exclaimed after taking his first bite, "This might be the best ramen I've ever-AH!"
Hikaru jumped up, knocking his chair over as he ran out of the dining room and into the hall, screaming, "Evil! Evil!"
Yabu blinked and peeked under the table, which caused him to laugh uncontrollably as Koyama-kun gave him a confused stare. "Hikaru doesn't like cats."

When four out of five 7 members came up to the BEST members with worried faces, Yabu immediately asked, "What's wrong."
"Well," Yuto scratched his wrist, "Keito's Dad just called him and um, his parents are officially getting a divorce. And uh, after the call ended Keito ran off and now we can't find him."
The others quickly stood up as Yabu began dealing out orders, "Okay, Yamada and Yuto, you take the area near Arashi's dressing room. Chinen and Ryutaro, check the area near Kanjani's rarely used room, that'd be a good hiding place. Takaki and I will check out the KAT-TUN area and Daiki and Inoo will check around the NewS area. Hikaru, you check the roof. Okay?"
Everyone nodded and scattered off, some running down the halls and the others using stairs or elevators. Hikaru quickly found the staircase that led to the roof and began the long run up it, his calves and lungs burning but he still pressed on. He couldn't even imagine how Keito must be feeling right now. He knew the boy's parents were having a bit of trouble, but Hikaru hadn't realized it was bad enough to actually divorce over.
When he finally reached the top of the stairs, he grabbed the door handle but quickly stopped, his nerves choking him up. If Keito was on the roof, what would he say to the boy? Uh, sorry your parents split up didn't seem good enough, but he didn't want Keito to feel completely pitied or something, he knew the boy would hate that. Should he hug Keito or not, and what if Keito started to cry? Hikaru's never dealt with a situation like this before, his parents and all of his friends parents are happily married. What should he do?
Taking a deep breath and counting to ten, Hikaru closed his eyes. When he exhaled, Hikaru opened his eyes and nodded to himself, opening the door. There Keito was, with his back against the ledge and his knees held tight to his chest. Hikaru walked over to his friend and sat beside him, putting an arm across his shoulders. Keito leaned into Hikaru's side and before he could stop himself, he was crying.
"Let it out Keito," Hikaru whispered, "Just let it out, it's okay to cry. I wish I could promise you that everything is going to be okay but I can't, I don't know that. What I do know though is that I, and the rest of JUMP, will be here for you. That's a promise I can make."
Keito nodded, his hands clutching Hikaru's jacket as he cried.
