It was a lovely Sunday afternoon, and thankfully JUMP had the day off. Instead of spending that time doing unfinished homework, seeing their families or possibly catching up on hours of sleep, JUMP decided to go to the amusement park together. When they got to the park, they split up into separate groups (aka the group that won't ride roller coasters and the group that will). Ryutaro was with the group that would ride roller coasters, which consisted of Keito, Hikaru, Yabu, Takaki and Chinen. After getting off another dizzying ride, Yabu decided it was time for a lunch break.
Hikaru stole Keito and ran off to get some burgers, despite Keito's protests. Yabu wandered off also, in hopes of finding the pizza cart they saw an hour ago. That left Chinen and Ryutaro together, who both decided to get ice cream. Once they found an ice cream vendor and paid for their treats, Chinen's cone a mint chip and Ryutaro's a plain chocolate, they settled at the designated meeting spot and began to eat.
Or really, Ryutaro began to eat and Chinen sat there, mouth open and ice cream dripping over his fingers. He couldn't help it though, Ryutaro was eating the ice cream with such...passion. Licking the ice cream delicately, smoothing over the tip with his tongue before taking the whole thing into his mouth, repeating the process over and over and-
"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" Chinen screamed, dropping his cone as he ran towards the bathroom, hands covering the front of his jeans.
Ryutaro blinked, shocked by Chinen's sudden outburst, before he just shrugged and continued to eat his ice cream.
Two
Once they found Chinen, the group of roller coaster riders set off, Hikaru leading them towards a water ride he thought looked cool. Once they found it, Takaki decided to skip out because he didn't want to ruin his hair he still felt a little queasy from before. The others shrugged and got in line, Hikaru jumping up and down with excitement while the others looked away and pretended to not know him. Soon, they were in front of the line and strapped into cart, Chinen seating in front with Yabu and Ryutaro sitting between Keito and Hikaru in the back. The ride took off, Chinen and Yabu throwing their hands into the air while they screamed, the three in the back laughing at them. The ride did all sorts of dips, twisting onto its side as hoses attached to the ride squirted them with water. Soon they were at the end, inching their way upwards until the ride dropped, speeding into the pool floating along the tracks. When they hit the water, it splashed everywhere, effectively soaking the group. After that the ride came to a stop and the group exited the cart, shivering and laughing.
"That was AWESOME!" Hikaru yelled, pumping his fist into the air, "Was that not awesome, guys! WASN'T IT!?!"
"Yes yes," Yabu rolled his eyes as Hikaru took off, running towards Takaki who screamed and ran away from his wet friend, "Oh geez, I better go save Takaki." and he also ran off, chasing Hikaru and trying to catch him.
Chinen laughed, nudging Keito in the side, "I wonder how you deal with Hikaru sometimes, hah." but Keito didn't respond, his attention focused silently in front of him, "Huh, Keito? Keitooooooo," Chinen pouted and walked away, grumbling to himself, wondering what was so important that it made Keito ignore him.
Well, if Chinen hadn't been paying attention to the others, he probably would've noticed Ryutaro, his bangs covering his eyes as water dripped from them, landing on his nose and traveling down his lips, or the blue shirt that clung to Ryutaro's new developing muscles.
"Keito?" Ryutaro called behind him and laughed when Keito shook his head, shaking himself out of his daze, "You've been spacing out for a few minutes, you okay?"
Keito just blushed and nodded, and the two ran over to where Hikaru had Takaki pinned to the ground, his wet hands running through the boy's now not-so-perfect hair, while Yabu yelled at the two and Chinen stood near him, texting on his phone.
Three
The group of roller coaster riders eventually got tired of roller coasters, and decided to venture towards the kiddie-rides where they ran into the rest of the group, who were on their way to the merry-go-round. Since there wasn't much of a line, the others got on quickly and picked out their horses, giggling like little kids. Ryutaro chose a cool black horse, and Daiki and Inoo chose the glittery pink one with wings that was next to his.
As the music started and the ride began to go round, Daiki took off his fedora and threw it to Ryutaro, who caught it with a confused look, "Put it on! You'll look like a bandit then."
Ryutaro nodded and put the hat on, the brim of the hat slipping over his eyes, casting a shadow over his face. He smirked, holding out his hand like a gun as he said in a deep voice, "Gimme all your money, punks."
Inoo fell off his horse, his face red while Daiki coughed, choking on air. Ryutaro quickly got off his own horse and helped Inoo up, "Are you okay? Why did you fall?"
Inoo looked away, his blush darkening as he stammered, "Uh, I um, I lost my balance! Yeah, my balance." Ryutaro quirked his head to the side but didn't push further, as he got up to help Daiki stop coughing.
By the time the ride was over, both Daiki and Inoo were very red in the face, running to the water fountain before anyone could ask what happened. When they turned to Ryutaro, who was still wearing the hat, he just shrugged and said, "I have no idea, honestly."
Chinen and Keito rolled their eyes.
Four
When Inoo and Daiki came back over, the group decided to ignore whatever it was that caused them to freak out and continue having fun. They left the kiddie-rides and made their way towards the games, where the group split up into different directions, heading towards the games they wanted to play. Ryutaro, with Yamada and Yuto following him, made their way towards an apple-bobbing game, the prizes different size hamster plushies.
"Woohoo, go Ryutaro!" Yuto yelled as Ryutaro paid the man for a round, before dunking his head into the bin. Within seconds, a record breaking score according to the man, Ryutaro pulled his head out of the water, a shiny red apple in his mouth. The man gave Ryutaro his prize, a hamster plushie about the same size as Yuto's little brother, and the three left the booth.
"Ne, Ryutaro that was incredible!" Yuto exclaimed and Yamada nodded, asking, "How were you able to get an apple so fast?"
Pushing his wet bangs out of his face, Ryutaro smiled and said, "I don't know, natural talent for bobbing I guess."
Yamada's eyes widened, his eyes locked on Ryutaro's glistening lips while Yuto ran to the bathroom, holding his hands over his bleeding nose.
Five
It was starting to get dark out, and although they were completely exhausted, JUMP wanted to stay for the light show. After making a few quick calls to some parents, plans were set and JUMP settled by a large tree, waiting for the show.
"I'll be right back guys, I gotta pee." Ryutaro announced before making his way towards the restroom. As he left, seven out of the nine boys let out a collective sigh of relief, finally able to relax.
"God, that kid is killing me!" Chinen whined, "I haven't been able to relax at all."
Keito and Inoo nodded, who added, "My ass still hurts from falling off that horse."
Yuto snorted, "Whatever, my nose bleed was so bad I was sure I was going to faint!"
Yamada sighed, "This is so, so wrong," and Daiki smacked him over the head, causing the younger to yell, "What was that for?"
Daiki glared, "At least you're not old like Inoo and I, I feel like a creep now!"
"Uh," Takaki raised his hand, catching everyone's attention, "I'm confused." Hikaru and Yabu nodded, looking at the others with concerned faces.
"It's Ryutaro," Keito pinched the bridge of his nose, "He's gotten sexy."
"Sexy?" Yabu asked while Hikaru glomped Keito and pouted, "Ryutaro is fourteen, he's not sexy."
Chinen shook his head, "Just watch the way he eats ice cream, it's completely phallic."
"Or the way he bobs for apples." Yamada said and Yuto cursed, his nose bleeding again.
"Don't forget the way he looks wearing Daiki's hat, smirking, that deep voice." Inoo trailed off and Daiki sighed.
"And the way he looked after that water ride, his shirt clinging to his muscles. Sorry Hikaru." Keito awkwardly patted Hikaru's hair as he cried out, "I HAVE MUSCLES AND THEY LOOK VERY SEXY WHEN WET!"
Takai and Yabu looked at the other members before bursting out into laughter, "He's not sexy!" Takaki said, holding his sides as Yabu rolled around on the ground. They continued laughing until Ryutaro came back, and suddenly, their laughter completely died as their eyes widened. The first firecracker went up into the air, illuminating Ryutaro's figure standing above them.
"Holy shit." Hikaru whispered and Keito nodded.
"Hey guys," Ryutaro sighed, "Man, I was on my way back when this girl tripped and her milkshake spilled all over me. It's so cold without a shirt on."
Takaki wordlessly took off his jacket and threw it to Ryutaro, who put it on with a smile as Yabu banged his head against the tree.
"Are they okay?" Ryutaro asked, sitting beside Chinen, who just smiled and said, "They're just a little stunned by a sudden revelation. No need to worry."
