big, fat snowflakes are pouring out of the heavens right now & that makes me feel so full & satisfied. i just sat on my bed, staring out the window for a solid fifteen minutes. it's simply grand & i love how it changed my whole outlook for the day. anyways, yesterday i went to borders & my mother bought me the lovely bones, by alice sebold. i began ( Read more... )

Emily,
that book is amazing i read it..along with sebold's other book, "lucky". also, a very good book. & definitely one that you just can't put down.
snowflakes..i wish they were in my view.
as soon as possible..i'll leave this weather-boring state. where the only weather we have would simply melt the snow.
even the places that have snow..just seem so fake, and im yet to actually see the snow fall with my own eyes.

+ the areas that actually have snow in california, are so far away from me..
i want snowwww..
get me some in a little ziplock, and send it to me.
i get so jealous reading about it...
i want SNOW!

<3 Jessica.
ps-thats a very good song you were listening to.

jessica,

i will have to look for that other book just as soon as i complete this one. it saddens me that you've never gotten to see snow fall. it's such an exquisite sight. you will see it someday, though. & it will have been worth the wait. i assure you.

love,
emily.

p.s. it is wonderful, i agree!

that sounds absolutely wonderful.

i haven't read a REALLY good book in so long. god knows i have the time, too. i miss that feeling of just diving into a great book. before you know it, you've been reading for hours.

yes, it is a wonderful feeling. but, i'm usually bad about not reading nearly enough, as well. i love getting lost in a book, though. more than just about anything.

Oh gosh. Snow is my favorite thing in the whole entire world. I don't think there is anything I like more.
Oh wait, yes I do! Know what I like more?

You.

when you were little, didn't you ever turn your pj's inside out if you wanted a snow day? that's what i meant. i've never actually done it, but i've heard people talk about it before. i guess it's not common knowledge. heh. :)

I wish we could have lovely weather like that, so we can sink in covers and read a good book.
