Well, I survived the visit with my boyfriend's folks. His mom is very nice, sweet, and NORMAL, unlike the moms of previous significant others. His step-dad is nice, too, tho mostly deaf - he's getting cochlear implants September, so hopefully he'll be more social when he can participate in conversations. Having bought my first (and likely last) house, I'm now starting to do some serious remodeling.
