Death and toddlers

Rich's grandfather passed away this evening. We will be heading to Weirton tomorrow. His family dog also died about a week ago. How do we deal with this with Morgann? I'm sure the first thing she will ask is "Where's Thor?" when we get to his parents house. Then she will ask to see Pap. Pap, to me, was a grumpy old man, but Morgann loved him so

Roman still asks for my dad. He has no concept of death and we weren't sure what to tell him.

I have no idea what I would do/say in your situation..."he's not here right now because he's in heaven"...and I"d get books about death for her age...though I don't know any off the top of my head...
