All results came back normal and GREAT!  YAY!  Such a relief.

Christmas for us was good.  We drove to Austin to visit my parents at their new house by Lake Travis.  It's a good house, newly remodeled (some by the previous owners and some by them), but there is a terribly impractical driveway that I think is dangerous.  Hmmm.  It was a good visit, ( Read more... )

This was quite an eventful weekend, in a way.

Friday night:
Eric and I just chilled. Went out grabbed some dinner and did grocery shopping. But as we came home, my mom and dad had dropped off a screen for us and a few other things (sushi set). We didn't know they were back in town, but this made it obvious.

So last night we finally sold the older car!  My parents had come by a few months ago and dropped off a newer Saturn Ion for us.  We've been looking to sell the old one and did to an international grad student from STATE (just for you Summer).  He came down last night and we exchanged, he was so happy and got a great deal.  So, Eric and I slept in ( Read more... )

I've been down with the flu for the past few days, but am bouncing back.  I'm even going to do Pilates today :)  Eric's doing great, he just started his 2nd Summer session of classes.  He's taking Marketing and PE.  Two classes he has to take.  He's really nervous about his PE class.  He seems to think that he'll be graded on his physical fitness ( Read more... )

Well...my confusion now?  Which doctorate for ME to do?  Either Duke's Business Management PhD or State's Higher Ed. EdD.  Oh what a conundrum.  I'm doing  tons of research right now.  We'll be coming back to Raleigh for an early August visit for me to visit Duke and for Eric to visit again with profs from Duke and State.
