Hi and welcome,
I think that Hufflepuff is the house most suited for you, although I see some tendencies for Ravenclaw.
You like to learn, but not for the learning itself but because you are interessted in something. You wrote that you are the listener in your family and circle of friends and from "If there is anyone new at college I always instantly try to make them feel as welcome as possible, and I always try to have a smile on my face to cheer people up. I love to be helpful and friendly as it makes life easier and a bit more happy and special" I can totally see you in Hufflepuff.
That you want to know the logics of prejudices against muggleborns is also something I would associate with Hufflepuff.

Hello Sophie and welcome to hh_home! Let’s see what your application says to me…
2. This one actually strikes me as very Ravenclaw. In this answer you seem to take a very analytical approach and you seem to enjoy PoA on an educational level.
3. This answer is so strongly Hufflepuff it’s uncanny. Although Lupin was a Gryffindor, you seem to relate to his caring and loving side that strikes me as more Puff than Gryff.
4. Again this shows the Hufflepuff traits of friendship and loyalty. You really seem to have a mix of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff traits, in particular the ones that parallel the two houses, and I keep getting more Puff than Gryff, although you would fair well in either.
5. I see more of the desire to learn about and from the characters. I think this is also a Ravenclaw answer.
6. I think your approach to lessons definitely comes across as Ravenclaw7. I totally get you on the fear of heights deal! Unfortunately, I can’t find a house to link this to. I appreciate it is a very real fear; I just have no way of finding a house for

8. Intelligence ~ Ravenclaw ~ You really have the Ravenclaw intelligence. The thirst for knowledge only in subjects you are interested in is extremely Ravenclaw! Loyalty ~ Hufflepuff ~ All houses have members who are loyal. However, the two houses best known for this trait are Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. I, personally, see loyalty to friends as Gryff and loyalty to both friends and family, as you express, more Puff. I think I get this because Harry really has no family to be loyal to. Anyway, Hufflepuff here. Friendly ~ Hufflepuff ~ All houses have members who are friendly. However, your ability, willingness and desire to befriend the new people at your college strikes me as very Hufflepuff.
9. Shyness ~ Slytherin ~ I am actually seeing Slytherin in this because you seem to present a different person to the world until you feel comfortable. This just strikes me as something Slytherin do to keep them protected until they know they are safe. Emotional ~ Hufflepuff ~ I seem to keep repeating myself, but all houses have emotional members

I see a lot of Hufflepuff in your appliation-you say you aren't judgemental, which to me lets out Slytherin and Griffindor (Sorry all our Griffs, its just a personal thing) I'd say Ravenclaw, but I just don't see that "geekhood" that says 'claw to me. But for me what made me put Puff was that two of your three best traits are Loyalty and Friendliness, which just screams "Hufflepuff" to me.
