haha, i don't particularly like the libertarian party at present. but, do you mean to say that you can't be friends with an economic conservative? i'm assuming you have no qualms about me being a social liberal ( ... )

oh, dear, my comment was mostly a joke. i know that you aren't really a libertarian and i even agree with some of the statements you just made. i'm just very surprised you took the time to write all that out. :)

and yes, we're cool.

oh, good i'm glad.

as to the length of my comment, i just figured that some people would wonder, so i thought i'd pre-empt that and put my thoughts out there. you just happened to be the lucky first comment. :)

i guess a little. i just kind of thought you'd be more to the left than i was, though the test doesn't seem to function in a strict right/left framework.

i just took it, and i am a democrat (as predicted). according to this, though, i'm only 41% economically permissive. i believe in free trade with limited restrictions (don't ask me about NAFTA-- i loathe it). none of that "keep america's business in america" business. but i also think that subsidies should go to people who need it. however, i do hate homeless people, but you probably know that already (j/k, sort of).

i took this earlier in the day (and am too lazy to re-take it to get the exact percentages) but i was on the border of democrat and socialist. and even though i really didn't know what to expect i was a bit suprised, since i felt my ideology was aligned more towards libertarianism. SUPRISE !

hmm, that is interesting. i wonder which questions you tested as less economically permissive. just based on our conversation about global warming (i still disagree with you btw), i would think you'd be more permissive than me.

i think it's weird that "permissive" is their chosen word for the spectrum of responses.
