My mom would have turned 76 today if she was still alive. But instead, she only lived to be 61. What's really sad about the whole thing is that her life went into a tailspin in the early 90's - the depths of which I'll never be able to fathom. I know, I know, there's nothing I could have done. The Chamberlain Greene show last night was... well...
So we were the first of four bands at Sahara Lounge, and went on at around 8:30. I'd say there were maybe 20 people there. Last night, Mia and I went to Wheatsville for dinner, then home to feed Rancor, then to the Elisabet Ney museum. I talked to the director there and went over logistics for the show next month. Friday night I went to Tim's to help work on the Chamberlain Greene album. He was just recording the drum tracks, and had Adam playing rhythm guitar into his headphones for cues and such. Last night we had band practice. It was a little tense because we are kind of hitting a brick wall with the new song. Cooper and Joey seem to want the ending to be a little more melodic hardcore, while Luke and I seem to want it to be a little more metal. I recorded practice with my 4 track and after a little editing I think it's finished.
