So yeah, um. I am sick of dating. Do you ever feel that way? sick of the games, trying to not make yourself too vulnerable, keeping boundaries so you wont get hurt? ugh its just annoying, and im sick of it. But if it makes you feel any better, I think what you're experiencing is pretty normal...there comes a time when everyone takes a pause to look at their life and then figure out what they want going forward. For some it's more of the same, for others, they want an entirely different direction. I wouldn't say you're becoming an "old maid", just that you're realizing that you may want to take your life in a different direction.
