AWWWWW haha we are happy to know that people will read stuff we write just because it's *us*, and we will try very hard not to abuse this and write quality things, ahaha. But thank you SOO much for reading and taking a chance with this fic, despite it being an out-there pairing and het and everything else! ♥ Your feedback means so much to us, so thank you very much for leaving it. :D

Why are you doing this to me? Pairings like this shouldn't occur in the real world. Jin isn't meant to be so nice, conflicted as he is; you make me want to give the real McCoy the benefit of the doubt, and THAT. IS. JUST. NOT. RIGHT. *silly alien mocks stamps her feet in protest*

Becky always has my love, but Aiko! OMG. Never love a more suitable Cupid.

No Arashi AT ALL, and you STILL make me love this SO MUCH! Argh!

Bwahahaha~~ it's obviously our dastardly evil plan to convert everyone to the fact that Jin really is, inside, just this awkward, shy, loving marshmallow (because he totally is). But this started out as an idea by Jamie that she tried to prompt ME with, and the two of ended up getting so excited over the idea that we pounded it out together. Not Arashi at all- but we like expanding our borders and thinking outside the box!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, as always!! You are fantastic! ♥

*flail* *FLAIL* That was absolutely adorable and sweet and fabulous and beautiful.

It was sweet without being cliched and overwrought; I loved the way you kept them grounded and real - Becky is a nice girl, who loves her daughter, is determined to keep going and doing as much as she can, cares deeply for her daughter and wants to share that pride with her father.....but she is not perfect. She lets things get messy when Aiko is not there....she does not throw herself at Jin just because he shows interest....she is late with the rent...she feels real. (and you did a great job at making her rounded as a character - and connecting her to talento Becky. I pictured this entire thing with Becky in my head - and it all rang true.)

Jin was lovely and sweet and importantly not creepy at all!!! an unfortunate sign of our times that I feel compelled to point that out, but....he was not creepy at all He was so beaten down by life - the endless and changing shifts, the drinking and clubbing, the endless ache of not being able to see his ( ... )

Awww! Wow, thanks so much for this! Hahaha, we are so happy that the characterization worked well without being over the top- and we are definitely glad that the plot worked without feeling like we forced it. We kind of went into this with the idea in mind that "having someone doesn't make life easier, but it does make it easier to cope with"- because all in all it was never about making life easier or simpler, but just two people who happened to find each other amidst the rest of crap that was going on that life threw at them. :) We tend to like writing the way real relationships happen, and real relationships are messy and complicated and often incredibly surprising ( ... )

lol we like knowing that people are willing to give us the benefit of the doubt with some of these things we come up with. Because we really DO sometimes come up with just bizarre combinations and ideas. But we are so happy you liked this! It was so much fun for us to write, it made us quite happy, haha. ♥ Thanks so much for being so awesome (even when we are putting out weird stuff like this) and leaving us feedback!! :D

Just finished reading this and it made me 'aw' so much! I'm totally glad I read this - you both introduced me to Aiba/Becky, so I had to take a chance here and it paid off so well. It was really simple yet sweet, which I enjoyed a lot; I love that you guys took the time to flesh out Jin's relationship with Aiko before Jin got to know Becky - that made all the difference, and made the development of the relationship that much more realistic.

Thank you for sharing something that's different, maybe bizarre but certainly believable. :)
