So earlier this afternoon I got an email from my supervisor at work saying I was fired. Ouch. Apparently the reason was too many absences. I had a couple of unexcused and a couple of excused. So Thursday morning I flew to Chicago to interview with NOVA. I'm exactly sure how the interview went. I thought they were going to ask me questions about teaching, my study abroad experience,etc., but most of the questions ended up being stuff like "Tell us about a bad quality you have and how that may have annoyed someone recently." o_O I guess ( Read more... )

Ahem. So last night Dustin, Byron and I paid a visit to 6th street. It was college night, so a lot of the bars had cheap drinks. I suppose bar hoping is okay, but I don't really like how it's so ridiculously loud and packed that you can't hear what anybody is saying.
