I know I haven't posted in a while, but things have been hectic. Chisa lost her job, I'm working overtime, still going to school, and I haven't slept well in weeks. We should be able to keep afloat through April at least, but past that we're going to need to rely on our income tax return or Chisa getting another job. Haven't posted in a while, probably because things have been pretty smooth sailing. With the new year comes my least favorite thing in my life currently: working and going to school at the same time. The house is mostly decorated for Xmas now, though boxes upon boxes of decorations are still laying around in various places and the tree is only about half done. As this semester rolls on, I find my unhappiness with my dual life growing. At first, when I came back to college I really didn't mind working a full-time job and taking classes. I was only taking two classes a semester, and pretty easy ones in order to boost up my GPA and assure that I could get back into school full-time. Somewhere along the way ( Read more... )

By "we", I mean "Chisa and the two people she got to go with her on this last trip, which didn't include me since I was getting some sleep after work."
