I have been ranting for a while on my various ideas for this world.  All through summer camp I told people how I would run things, If I ever took over the planet. Right now, I am in a very political mood. The Republican party has enraged me once again.(1

I agree with most of the concepts in this post. Just about everything needs a vast overhaul, done by people who actually know their shit rather than hicks and corporations.

#1 - Personally, I disagree. And yes, because of environmental reasons. However, it's not regarding waste or radiation. It's that I think the solution to out 'energy shortage' (a fucking joke term, btw) is energy independence. As in, being independent from the need for so much of it. Cutting back on usage. Yeah, I know it's not easy. It might not even be possible short of a disaster destroying our infrastructure. But I still fel it's the way to go

Almost forgot. In regards to #3, I think that the classes should ONLY be taught by 'successful' parents in conjunction with those that are experts in the various fields being taught on.

Government's always been slow to adopt international standards... most of Europe has been using digital television format for almost 10 years, and we're only now catching up. Only way to make people do a change like that is to make it law and impose a deadline.
