I used to have a book when I was a child filled with nursery rhymes and children's stories. What I loved most about the book was not writings the pages were filled with but the scent of the pages. I am the silence,
only to be broken
but no one cares.
I am the mystery,
meant to be solved,
but no one dares.

I am the quiet one. I am too plain to be considered mysterious so instead I go unnoticed. For so long I've remained silent when I should have spoken. I realize now how few people have actually heard the sound of my voice. This makes me sad. Realizing how few people actually want to hear my voice makes me mad.

We had to put our cat to sleep recently. Within a few weeks of my friend losing a loved one to cancer. It's interesting that it's considered humane to put and animal out of its misery but a human is left to suffer and waste away no matter how long it takes. It's weird how one person can be two contradicting things to me. My sister knows me the best and is the one that would stick up for me no matter what but she remains my worst critic.
