they have commercial skunk removers, you might have to ask your vet about where to find it though.

you can also go mythbuster style:

Removing skunk odor with...:

* Tomato juice: plausible
* Hydrogen peroxide + baking soda + liquid dish soap: confirmed
* Commercial skunk remover: confirmed (not as good as custom mix above)

I agree with tomato juice. My cat got sprayed by a skunk once, happens a lot where I grew up.

I suggest taking him to a groomer and for $60 letting them figure it out.

hmmm, i have always heard the vinegar thing...but where i am from vinegar is the cure for everything that you cant use bleach on....its the southern version of "my big fat greek wedding"
anyway, I second queen_bbb---let the groomer handle it.dog wont hate YOU and YOU wont smell skunky.
