i've always wanted to support my clubs and i have tried to turn up to as many as i can, but it's costing me too much lately. the speeding tickets that tried to wipe out my license as well as parking tickets from previously, that i only get in the city while i'm clubbing has made the price of entry very expensive. then there's the booze prices and ( Read more... )

theyre gunna be custom fantasy choppers, i'll take existing frames and motors and build new bikes around them, made with fantasy or scifi themes, insects or animals.

This all seems hauntingly familiar to me. Been there, done that. Haven't been to a club in over, um 9, 10 months?

There are work-arounds, but the question is whether they're worth it for a club. I now have local transport in the shape of my EasyRide. While it isn't as versatile as a petrol moped, it will get me to the local station at Cardiff and back. From that point (where I lock up the bike) I can travel down to Sydney for $2.50! Haven't tried it going to a club yet, as that would require leaving it locked up overnight.

Maybe you might be able to do a similar thing. After all, if the club's at Taylors on Central, it's a mere two block walk from Central.

Then again, maybe a 6-12 month break would do you some good. I've missed the clubs a lot less than I thought. What i dod miss is my friends, and they stopped going to those clubs anyway.

I understand about not haveing the money to be able to go to clubs at the moment, as we find it very hard to go out alot now too.

I think quite a few people are struggeling finacialy these days, for what ever reason, or can't spare the money to go out any more, or very much. When you do get to go out, you will enjoy it more, and it will be more of a treat!!

i hate to say it but things did get tight money wise, we make a fair bit of money but sales has slowed, harvest got less yield and i am changing my priorities, but the chances i'm taking now will pay off soon.

the incidentals i'm struggling with now will become no problem, but i gotta take the risks now to ease off the troubles later.

the bike shop will be good :)
