Yep, granma popped her clogs yesterday. And despite the fact that she's been threatening to die for the last decade (usually over Christmas pudding every year) it came as rather a shock. Went and saw my gran in the hospital last night. She's been there ever since she fell over and broke a few ribs a few weeks ago. My mum had told me the ward number and the bed number and sure enough, when I got there the chart on the wall above the bed showed my gran's name but the woman lying curled up and asleep in the bed was not my gran.
