I guess it would have been a bit much to hope that she invited you in for a cup of tea and meet her tall, dark & handsome grandson...

Seriously though, I like when this happens. It's not always as noticeable as your day today, but it's happened to me too - if I recall correctly, one day I found an umbrella and later lost $10. A fair price, I figured.

And I hadn't even made my crack about how I wouldn't have required the grandson to be tall OR dark! Average height (or even a shortie like me), fair and cute is just as acceptable. ;)

I love that people aren't all assholes in the world. There is a god or buddha. We aren't all killing each other.
