All gone!

So, I decided to go ahead and cut my hair and donate it to Locks of Love. It's really short, now, but I kind of like it. It's starting to grow on me :) I'll post a picture when I finally get one. Right now I'm crazy sunburned, so i don't want to post anything yet.

I'm taking opinions...

This weekend at the Relay For Life of South Bend they're doing Locks of Love haircuts. Now, I have enough hair where they can cut off the required 10" and I'll still have a few inches below the chin. I'm trying to decide whether to cut it or not. Any opinions?

Sitting here at work...not much I can do right now but just sit here. My back has now been spasming for going on 48 straight hours and I've about had all I can take. After a week at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Indianapolis, I'm back at my desk, back to the grind. It was a good week, and a great experience. My student got a 4th prize overall in her category, Medicine and Health, which came with $500. Not a bad deal. She had one kind of bitchy judge that I wasn't too happy about, ( Read more... )

So, I'm bed bound at the moment, and bored out of my mind. I hurt my back, I think running through the Vancouver airport a few weeks ago, and according to the doctor, my body is "preparing itself for a lot of pain." Well, I didn't get into the histopathology workshop I applied for. Bummer. I guess I'll have to try again next summer. I really need to go to that workshop...definitely need to learn the histology and pathology.

Boo...no Colorado this summer...

Will have to find somewhere else fun to go for a week... any ideas?
