I think this applicant would enjoy being a Common Raven (Corvus corax). Like the applicant, they pick things up quickly and have a good memory (they can mimic sounds they have heard including human speech!). They learn to hide their food from each other, and that they should wait for other animals to tear open prey. They are also very adapatble with their food and climate. They don't flock, but rather form mated pairs. Since the applicant only likes having people they're close to around, this would work. Ravens are also black, which matches the applicant's hair. They fly, like the applicant wanted, and would be natural in an urban setting. They're also some of the smartest birds and have the largest brain of any bird species. They don't have many predators. And since the applicant says they like Corvids, I thought the Raven fit very well!
Mine wasn't specifically picked but Raven's and Crows are pretty close! This is what I said.
Applicant #527: I'm going to go ahead and vote you as the Northern Raven, here are the reasons why. 1. You mentioned that you wanted to fly, and wanted to be a bird that would be found in cities. You also said that you wanted a bird that isn't too far down the food chain, so that took a lot of birds that I had in my head off of the table. The Raven fits all of these criteria. 2. You also mentioned that you like Crows, and Raven's so I thought I would oblige you and give you what you wanted. Why turn into an animal if it isn't one you like right? 3. You said that you are Asian with black hair, and I thought that the Raven's black feather's fit perfectly.

Here was mine!
Applicant #523: The animagus form I find most suitable for this applicant is the Royal Penguin. They have expressed a desire for a form that lives in cold and snowy temperatures, spends part of the time in the water and part of the time on land, is cute, and is a social creature. The Royal Penguin seems absolutely perfect for this. It is a penguin that lives around the waters of Antarctica, which means that it will be in cold and snowy temperatures just as the applicant requested. Also, since it is a penguin, it spends part of its time in the water and part of its time in land. While the applicant says that they don't particularly like birds, apart from the unusual or cute ones, I think that this is a fun way of playing with the applicant's desires to have an animal that has some of the qualities of the birds that they like, but lives in the environment that they much prefer. Also the applicant has expressed a desire to be cute, and the Royal Penguin is definitely a cute animal. It has a really fun patch of yellow fur
( ... )
I went with Macaroni Penguin, not Royal Penguin. XD
I think that this applicant would be an excellent Macaroni Penguin. Though she states that she doesn't like birds (lol except for the cute ones), I wouldn't consider the penguin a normal bird. They can swim, however are not only limited to that. And of course, with the cold habitat they live in, that means SNOW! Macaroni Penguins take care of their young, the way that she cares for others. And they're obvs very cute. XD
Applicant #523: I'm going to go with the Alaskan Klee-Kai for you and this is why: 1. You said that you loved snow, well Klee-Kai's are from Alaska, and there is snow up there all the time. 2. You said that you like dogs. 3. You said you wanted to be an animal with paws, and you didn't want to be scary. 4. You said that you wanted to be able to explore as an animagus. Dogs are good for exploring because of their sense of smell.

Mine didn't get chosen, but here it is:
Applicant #524: When I read this application, I just knew the applicant had to have an owl animagus. The one I find most suitable for this particular applicant is the Greyish Eagle-Owl. I find this subspecies of owl to be the most suitable because it lives in the dry and rocky climates of places like Liberia, Sudan, and Somalia. This seems most suited to the applicant who has a preference for places that are dry and do not get particularly snowy or too overly hot. I also think that the Greyish Eagle-Owl is most suited for this applicant because it is a dark bird with a patterning very much like what the applicant says about their own looks. Since the applicant has dark hair and dark eyes, this owl would be perfect for their looks. It even has spots, which could relate to the moles that the applicant says that they have. Owls are known to be solitary creatures as well as nocturnal, which is exactly what the applicant says they want. There are no packs associated with this owl, obviously, which

Hey, here's mine! It wasn't chosen, but it's another kind of owl so some of the same reasons may apply.
I think this applicant would be suited for the Rufous Owl (Ninox rufa). Before even reading that she liked owls, I was already thinking an owl would be a good fit. They're nocturnal birds, which fits. They're also loners, like the applicant. They're also known to be clever and catch prey quickly. I chose this species in particular for a few reasons. One being the brown coloring fits the applicant. Also they are known for being a bit shy and elusive, but will become aggressive if threatened, like the applicant. They're a powerful and capable hunter. They also have a wide geographic range, so they can survive in a variety of environments. I thought these traits all fit what the applicant is looking for.
This applicant would do best as a solitary and nocturnal bird since they are a loner and prefer the night as well as the air. Also the applicant wants an animal known as clever and that lives someplace cool but not too cold. All of these combine point to the western screech owl-- a nocturnal bird that has a wide range of living environments and lives a solitary life.
This applicant is to me, without a doubt, an Arabian horse. Arabians are the horse world's endurance runners, meaning they'd be able to travel long distances as the applicant desires. They hail from the warm climate of the Middle East. Like all horses they are herd animals in that they don't like to live alone, but they still do plenty of individual activities. These horses are also known for being intelligent. Or as wikipedia puts it, "Arabians' sensitivity and intelligence enable quick learning and greater communication with their riders."
Scottish wildcat (felis silvestris grampia) - The cat is mostly solitary, like the applicant - The applicant's best trait is her intelligence, and the cat is known for being intelligent - One of the cat's most active times is in the morning, and the applicant likes mornings - The applicant prefers being on earth and the cat is earthbound, although able to climb - The applicant wants to be a mammal (preferably a cat) that is able to defend itself, has many abilities, and is adaptable - the Scottish wildcat is all of them, being known for its ferocity when aggravated, its heightened senses, its abilities and its adaptability (it lives across a wide variety of terrain)
Applicant #528: I'm going to go with the Eastern African Cheetah. 1. You said that you wanted an animal that had teeth, and claws so that you could defend yourself if needs be. 2. You said that you wanted an animal that could run fast. The Cheetah can certainly do that. 3. You said that you loved cats, and the cheetah is a very beautiful one. 4. You wanted something with good eye sight. Cat's have great eye sight, especially at night.
