cnn.com makes me afraid to leave my house every morning.

In other news, I love this rain. I know pretty much everyone else is sick of it (especially those whose houses are under water), but I am still enjoying it. I am watching it rain from my desk right now. lovely.

This week, my aunt and my thirteen year old cousin, Connor, came to visit. While Connor was swimming in the pool with my neighbor, he took all the pool toys for himself and proudly announced,

"I am the king of noodles and balls!"

I got contacts today. I can see!!! Everything is so clear and wonderful. I don't know why I didn't do this before. I know I will be whistling a different tune when Chad comes back and I have to look at his ugly face without distortion, but for now, its pretty cool.

I just realized that our water is off for some random reason. Of course, I just drank a V8. That's not gonna taste good in the morning.
