Transition

With everything going so well lately, it caught me completely by surprise. How could someone so young, so vibrant, just slip away? Or was she taken away? No one knows yet. I'm at a loss for words... poor Kyle. His poor family.

Rest in peace Lorencita, wherever you are.

A childhood friend of mine died. Apparently, she was found dead in her dorm room, cause unknown. I don't know very much about what is going on there, but it happened in Denver. Her brother was our goalie on my soccer team for a few years.

Holy Crap! Marie! How's it going!

Man, what's it been, at least four years? You used to hang out a couple of times with me and Pieter and Jason Bovetz. You were in band, and you played alto sax if I remember correctly. Yeah, I'd love to. Geez, when it rains, it pours. I just ran into Heather Hatch and her younger sister (cannot remember her name) from Monroe also. Pieter VanDamme still drops by every now and then, and I see Chris Essen-Cline at the mall too.

So yeah. In case you couldn't figure out who I was from the pessimistic perspective in my bio info, my name is Paul. I was that guy that played flute, the only male flute player in the district. Yeah... if only that was the one and only claims to fame.

Well, if you would like to create a community for that, I'd love to start. I have been away from lj for a few weeks now, but if there will be other Monrovians about, I'll probably return. Thanks for saying hi, I'll keep in touch.
