akak, i just wanna ask u about personal statement that u have to prepare in order to fly kan ? like bnm scholars, my friend told me that bnm will held a special tutor session on how to make an excellent personal statement . will petronas do the same, or we have to rely on ourselves to do it ?

What do u mean 'in order to fly'? I assume u're talking about uni application, right? To be honest, I don't know. I mean, those BNM scholars maybe they're bounded to US or UK. I'm not sure bout UK, but what I do know, for US university application they hv to make essays n inlclude certificates of co-curricular involvement (including involvement during pre-uni) for each uni application. If u aim for top-notch uni, then ur essay must be really really good.

Australian/New Zealand uni app is very easy though. You just fill in forms. No need for essays n they won't even ask whether u're active in co-cu or not. So yeah basically for us we don't need workshop or anything to apply for uni. I'm not sure bout my Pet US friends Whether they hv one. Sorry, maybe I'm the wrong person to ask.

Where are u bounded to? US or UK is it?

But if u mean pre-departure briefing, then yes definitely Pet does one.

Haha. You probably shouldn't ask me coz I'm US bias and I'm not so fond of New Zealand. Not really a nature-loving person. So my judgement will be very bias

Hi, I got the Petronas Scholarship, and I am beyond joy and gratitude for this. During the application, I asked for the overseas programme for geoscience haha, and I received the local programme for petroleum geoscience. Can I ask, is it because of my lackadaisical interview that I receive the local programme? Sorry if I sound ungrateful, in fact I am actually very happy receiving this scholarship. Just curiosity gets the best of me :) Do you know why?

Hey there, I received the Petronas scholarship too. Just would like to inquire about the computer allowance, winter clothing allowance and stuffs like that. and if the meal allowance they provide is not enough, must we top it up with our own cash?
