I've just decided that the best plan of action is to not listen to half of what goes on in my house.

Damn my laptop cord for breaking. WHY?! If it was working, I'd be in my room right now and not in the living room.

We're doing this exercise in my environmental education class where each student teaches a group of about 6 of their peers a lesson. I always wonder what would happen if I did one thing differently in my life. I tend to think in the past and not towards the future. I’m not a big planner; I just sort of decide things on the fly and watch them happen. Probably not always the best way to live my life, but that’s sort of how its been going lately. my mom is making me a little crazy right now.

I know I'm grown up, but it really makes me cranky that my uncle gives my little cousin $80 for Christmas and give me nothing because I'm not a kid anymore. I didn't get my full raise at work. We get "appraised" once a year at work. This year, I was appraised by a student manager who has only one shift with me. (Of 3.) I'm gonna drive almost two hours to go on a hike in the morning. I'm going with a school friend of mine, and the hike we're doing is a hike I did as a kid and had a nasty fall... like off the trail, midway up a smallish mountain.
