There are lots of nice hotel in Bali especially UBUD. There is one called Komaneka but it is way above your budget. I would advise you to just go there and walk into one.

oh ya, i need to ask if you know of and shop that sells diving equipments in sg at reasonable rate?

i got mine many years ago at Lucky Plaza. There are a few diving equipment shops at the basement. Not sure if they are still there.

Mr Birch says: Hotel 81 Bali? Apparently they're very flexible around check-in check-out times - you don't even have to stay a whole night just an hour or two and the female staff are supposed to be very attentive.
