Back in the States

I have returned from my wanderings in Europe and all I want to do now is go back. I loved Italy and Greece wasn't that bad too. :) Here are some of the highlights, the food, with the exception of Greek Salads, tomatoes are and always will be nasty. Did I mention the food, no preservatives, fresh and just plain yummy. Oh, did I forget to mention the best ice cream ever, gelato. The language, well at least Italian, I had a good time getting over my shy approach to the language, and then all I wanted to do was speak it. Greek was interesting, I would try to speak to the people using what few Greek words I knew and every one responded in English. The history was awesome. I couldn't get over the fact that we were visiting the places we had read about in text books. I saw the Mycenian city, Apollo's temple, the statue of David and so much more. I guess you can say that I had a great time. Now I want to go travel the world, maybe the next place will be Alaska, we'll see.
