One problem

One problem with living in Taiwan is how many flies and cockroaches I see. It's not a ton, but there is a creepy crawler sighting at least twice a day :( I've gone from fear to murderous anger and now try to kill all the buggers!! I think there's only a couple flies left to kill, I've been killing a couple a day.. Anyway, I'm gonna keep shit clean

Advice on cockroaches after having lived with them on an island in the pacific ocean:

1. Most important::: Seal cracks and holes. I think that's where they come from.
2. Set traps by sinks and drains.
3. Cleanliness helps but does not resolve the problem.
4. Get landlord to install a screen on the window - sometimes they fly.
5. If your neighbors are dirty, you're going to get cockroaches. Spray or set traps by the door also. My neighbor who was old and had the gnarliest shag carpet died in his apartment and after they cleaned out that apartment, I felt like we had significantly less cockroaches.

Thank you for the tips!! The flies have decreased dramatically but cockroaches are so fast moving it's hard to kill them >_< I also think there are scented candles that repel flies and cockroaches right?

Cockroaches are tough. They had sticky traps in Hawaii called Hoi Hoi that work. I have seen many cockroaches get caught in them. And still alive sometimes 😖😖😖 You should be able to buy something similar.
