*hugs tightly* It certainly was! I spent like 30 minutes just sitting there staring at the wall, letting it soak in that it's gonna be alright. Whew.. he used up 8 of his 9 lives over this, but he's got one left.

Knowing my brother, he'll be on his feet before the doctors really want him to be. Now it's going to be how closely Mom and Dad can ride herd on him to make sure he stays down and rest. But he's healing.. he's healing.
