Advice needed for gift for young teen / Question about tags

**Apparently, I'm not supposed to ask this here. Sorry, it's been years since I read the rules for this community. Now I have a second question-Why is there a gifts tag if I'm not allowed to ask questions about them

Agreeing with other commenters, a nice journal is a good choice if she likes to write. Paperblanks are delightful and you should be able to find one that's a bit gothy. (Alternatively, is Emily Strange stuff still cool?)

If she's into actual writing accoutrements, sealing wax and a cool seal might be a good idea, especially if she likes writing a lot of notes. (I loved that kind of thing at her age.) Shouldn't be too hard to find wax in the colours she likes, and a seal with something spooky.
