Holy Moly... Alex. I wish I read so many books in 2008. I only read about 15 for the whole year.

I wrote to you on facebook the same minute you wrote to me on livejournal! We're amazing!

Also, the real reason I read so much this year was because the beginning of the year I spent working where I didn't have to do any work and just sat around reading and it got me off to this great pattern where I read all the time (which I used to do a lot when I was little, but it got me back on track). If you stick with me, I'll load you up with so many books you won't be able to see straight! Did you get to start the Vonnegut books yet? I think it'll totally be your thing!

Yupppity! I read The Sirens of Titan, loved it. Then I was going to read Cats Cradle but I got sidetracked and read The Slaughterhouse Five. Also magical. Then I started reading Stephen King, and writing short stories... Cats cradle may never get read. Thanks for introducing Vonnegut and Mr. Whitehead! It is true what they say READING IS FUN-damental!

Oh, I'm so glad! I love recommending books to people and hearing that they like them.

How's the short story writing going? I to do that, but ended up what the bro and I call "shorter stories" because sometimes they're only a page or so long. Let's compare notes!
