Newbie saying Hello!

Good day and greetings! I am 30 weeks pregnant and thought this group would be a good way of connecting to other interesting hip mothers, since my tiny community just north of the America/British Columbia border doesn't seem to have much to offer.

thanks very much. My friends all call me chey (and that's pronounced Shy, like timid, by the way).

by all means, friend away! always looking for more people to relate to, seeing as I live in a villiage composed of senior citizens. My neighbour on one side is 95, and the other side is 55+. So the internet is my neighbourhood of choice.

got any decent new tunes to recommend? and what about music to deliver to? I sure dont want Maynard, Ani or Zach singing while I'm trying to make excruciating pain into a spiritual bonding family experience (labour)!!

Do you like mellow stuff? I listen to a lot of electronic music. Goldfrapp is awesome, and so is Esthero. Calming music is always good, right? Hmm. I will do some thinking and try to come up with some more recommendations.

As far as your neighbors go, I know the feeling. ('cept mine is crazy) I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and the guy upstairs is a little off kilter. He barks like a dog and likes to throw stuff. Sometimes it's entertaining when we can hear him talking to himself...other times....we just turn the music up. lol.

I am a big fan of Esthero- and have recently been obsessing over Morcheeba, Tosca and Thievery Corporation. Totally into chiller tunes for now, I need to make some CD's to play during the delivery.
