Until you pointed it out I hadn't noticed that there aren't many people in your pictures - that plus the smashed electric pole makes it seems like Glasgow's undergone some sort of small disaster.
If you don't mind revealing it: How'd you make the Glasgow Globe? It's spectacular!
Took me like two days to figure out and do, I'd explain it but frankly it's way too goddamn complicated. I'm hoping you can figure out an easier way and tell me....
I only shoot when the light is a certain way. Other than that the compositions are of my choosing, but the rest is basically the camera. I've had excellent luck with Canons, I like the way they process colors and contrast better than, say, Sony. They process so well that none of these photos were even Leveled in Photoshop. Everything above was shot with a Canon SD-30 and a G9, both of which are extremely good cameras for the money.
haha.. welcome to my life, kind of. I'm an american export to northwest england, and I used to think it was just me who had trouble ordering coffee. My husband (irish by birth but english in most regards) says Aye a lot, though, so I'm used to that.
Enjoy your trip! I haven't been to Glasgow yet but enjoyed some trips to Edinburgh in the past. If you get bored, swing by. I'm in Lancaster these days.
