After buying a parts kit, my AK-47 project gun is complete! Took a bit of hammering, but the thing looks pretty good!

We’ll be test firing it this weekend, so stay tuned!

So we’ve had Baronial Birthday recently. It went pretty good, though it was incredibly hot. I got there too late for heavy fighting (it was too hot out there, with little shade and very little breeze), so I ended up hanging out with friends at the archery range.

So, on the 19th I went to Gettysburg to tour the battlefield. My sister, her two children and my mother accompanied me to the battlefield, getting a good appreciation for the ranges fought, the scale of the landscape battled over.

Also, today I took a lovely, friendly kitten to the animal shelter. Don’t feel good about it, but that’s all I can do.
