I think I've been doing fairly well the past few days. Last week wasn't so good, I had a lot of things due and I was kinda behind on things. In retrospect though, the real problem was me suffering from a chronic condition most people feel all the time; the critical condition known as fatigue. Jobs are impossible to find. No matter where I look and what connections I have, there are not any jobs available. All I've really done this summer is play video games and look for jobs. I'm getting very discouraged. Don't have much to ramble about. Primarily since my main activities are games and no one really cares about how my games end up.

I find it kind of amazing to wake up to find a lot of snow. There wasn't any out there last night, but when I got up around 8:30, we had about an inch on the ground and it has been snowing steadily all day. It's kinda nice really, because it's not that cold outside. Either that or I have adjusted to the climate again since our last warm burst. ( Read more... )

I got my housing situation figured out. Next year, my roommate will be Brian Clark. No idea which building we'll be in, but we're hoping for the one VWK suite for a group of 2. If not, we'll probably go for a Marycrest room. I'm still not sure if there are rooms with private baths, but if there are, we'd go with one of those ( Read more... )

This time they did, all classes before noon are canceled today; the university opens at noon. I guess the bad road conditions are to blame. I haven't been watching the weather, but my best guess is that it is too cold to melt ice off the roads.

I decided that I probably should not force myself to do something that I found no enjoyment in and actually disliked being a part of. I have quit pep band. As soon as I get the paperwork filed, the class will be technically dropped.

I feel better now that that is no longer looming over me. Also, Tuesday is over, and that makes me happy too.

You know, the most difficult missions are usually the ones where the main objective is: SURVIVE.

That might be why life is so difficult, and at the same time can be easy once you get a good pattern going.

So at this point, I can't decide. This is the second game for Pep band where all I could think about was getting to the end of the game. I don't look forward to it, I don't like being there, and I really don't care.
