I mentioned my state of hibernation here, outside of Chicago at my friend Adam’s place. It’s a comfortable, low key quasi-lifestyle that has me leaving the house twice a week at most. He’s away all day at work, allotting me the hours of solitude that I require, and when he gets back in the evening, we eat dinner, play cards, and have a few drinks.

josh, i've seriously missed your writing. you give us just enough info to know sort of what's going on, what you're thinking/feeling and your surrounding, but keep just enough air of mystery about it all. love it.

I love the glimpses of your life. Having just returned from Aspen and easily living from a couple bags of luggage for weeks, I too have been debating giving things away and jetting to foreign lands and adventures.
