Lol, you're too nice to me. Other than pulling out the nasty organs, making a turkey isn't difficult at all. You just rinse it and put it in one of those big cookers. I'm sure there's much more elaborate ways to make a tastier turkey, but I got by with my simple one two years ago :o)
I like your suggestion about delegating side-dish duties though. My little sister just graciously offered to make green bean casserole - now to find other helpers . . .
Did you see the movie "Pieces of April"? I reccommend it. Katie Holmes.
Oh wait, I forgot that I hate Katie Holmes now. used to like her.
take it all back.
good luck with thanksgiving! As long as you get the mashed potatoes and gravy right, you can't screw up! :) I just got out of Old Country Buffet.. 10 dollars, and really all I ate were mashed potatoes. mmm mmmm.
god do i miss the old country buffet's mashed potatoes!historia18November 7 2005, 14:31:11 UTC
Thanks for the luck - I really think I'll need it.
It's funny, my cousin was telling me to see Pieces of April yesterday, and I refused because I no longer like Katie Holmes either. Anyone who can find psycho Tom Cruise attractive and decides having his children is a good idea is not worth my time lol.

Yeah. She went to HS in Ohio you know. I know some people who know some people who knew her. They said she was a really sweet gal in HS.. nice to everyone, etc etc.
And that's the only reason I don't wish death upon her.. only widow-dom.
Hey, I didn't know you volunteered to cook! You should have mentioned it to me. As you know my skills in the kitchen are severely lacking but I will help as much as I can. But hey, who needs homemade cranberry sauce when the canned kind is so much better? And anyone can open a can of yams and melt some marshmallows on top in the microwave, right?:) If you don't like my ideas I'll still help however I can. The only thing is that I want to make an appearance at Dad's Thanksgiving as well. This is actually really convenient since you both are in Ann Arbor. Let me know,k? Talk to you later!

Anyway, I definitely never wished death upon her - I just lost interest in her after the whole Tom Cruise episode. She just seems so phony now.
