Today's sporking victim is another movie that suffers from the "what is this girl, blind?" syndrome - Jerry Zucker's First Knight. As always, bring your own spork and join in, there's definitely enough for everyone in this movie ;)

Dear Hollywood,

After watching both this treatment and that thing where Guinevere was a woaded S&M warrior princess, we are now requesting that you please consider the Matter of Britain closed, kthxbai.

Yours sincerely,
The Estate of Thomas Malory and Co.

Brilliant sporking, girls! So looking forward to Titanic!

Er... I don't know. I might pay to see that other movie. Granted, not much, but if I got a kick out of the steampunk Beowulf atrocity with Christopher Lambert in it...

Sorry, that sort of thing is only on in "The Mists of Avalon".

Of course the steamy threesome between Connery, Ormond and Gere might have made this movie more interesting. Then again the whole thing in the Mists miniseries kinda sucked, so maybe not...

*says nothing about King Arthur*

Have fun with Titanic!

Oh God, the miniseries - we'd totally suppressed the memories! *collective shudder*

Thank you, we will! ;)

Yes, but until the IXth century they were used for hunting, not war.

Not according to Anon and other military writers! My reading has been strictly military orientated and I haven't a clue what was used for hunting in the 4th century!

Besides, they could always steal it from the Chinese, along with the paper and half the other things in the film! :-)
