I just watched the pilot episode of "Castle" on the computer. Hey. Beats cleaning my room and trying to de-explode my closet that has exploded. Started to watch the 2nd episode but got timed out on the site I was watching. VERY irritating ( Read more... )

Castle is a very good show. The entire season is awesome and it is scheduled to be back on the air mid-September I believe. You picked a good one to get hooked on though.

Yes ma'am. We're hooked on Castle too. So far it's been really great. Can't wait till it returns. At least you keep picking good ones to watch. Must be extra fun to watch Bones since you live in the area it all happens..............then again....that could be scary. I was always amused when watching Walker, Texas Ranger. Specially since all the criminals came from Denton and you could just pop over to Dallas from Ft Worth for a 'quick' lunch.

Yes. Part of the fun of Bones is the DC location. I have even had folks ask me on tours where the Jeffersonian is. Fun. (I do point out the Hoover FBI bldng as where Seeley Booth works :)
The laugh out loud is sometimes when what is showing outside Brennan's passenger window in the car and what is showing outside Booth's drivers window is NO WAY possible. Two different parts of town!
Ah, Hollywood. Long may it prosper.

I've been wondering about Castle myself. I have a professor who I babysat for during law school who swears Fillion is better at being a "dude" than David Borenanaz (the professor and I both watched Buffy and Angel, and I think I've gotten his wife Bones obsessed, so we both just looked at the professor like he must be a fool).

Also, I'm glad you friended me! I thought we already were friends. Glad you took the initiative! :)

I have watched all the episodes available online. Fillion is good -- and fun. Castle itself ... It's watchable but, so far, feeling either too predictable or too unpredictable, if that makes any sense. It is also new and still searching for its footing. Funny? Serious? They do not move smoothly, IMO, from one to the other. And I admit I use BONES as a yardstick which may not be exactly fair.
Fillion is wonderful though.
Have you ever watched Ron Livingston? He is in the new Defying Gravity series that started this summer and was in Standoff before that. Now HE is someone to keep an eye on, acting-wise.

Oooh, I've long liked Ron Livingston. I developed my crush on him when he was Burger on Sex and the City, and broke up with Carrie via post-it note. Not an admirable thing to do, obviously, but he was damned cute doing it. I'm going to have to check out Defying Gravity; I haven't seen that one yet.
