So we start the year off with an ear infection for Aria. Get over that, on her birthday she has an infection in the other ear. Fast forward 3 days and now Kyan has the flu, fast forward 2 hrs., we believe sister has it too. Both kiddos on Tamiflu, Chris has already missed 2 days of work. It's now my turn to stay home with them both. Shoot me.

It's back to work I go. I was offered a day care job in Southlake. It's full time, they were able to give me the amount of money I wanted and the hours I wanted. I get a 40% discount on daycare. To me!!!! Saturday is all about me. Haircut in the morning, mexican food for lunch, kids with the in-laws overnight, movie and seafood dinner. What more can a girl ask for!

I had an interview today for a 4th grade position at Kyan's school. A decision will be made next week. Stomach will be in knots until I hear something.

Today when I pick up Kyan he will officially no longer be a kindergartener, but a first grader. Where did the time go? Saturday will be his 6th birthday. I am so unprepared for all of these changes. He reads, he writes, he adds, tries to subtract. He even earned the most improvement award from his teacher. My baby boy has grown up so fast.

Glutton seems to be the only appropriate word for my week. Wednesday I signed up for another 12 boot camp sessions: glutton for punishment. However, after my first 12 sessions I have lost 8 lbs and 3 inches off of my hips and belly each. The in-laws took the kids Saturday night so that we could celebrate our 7 yr anniversary. My knees are killing me. I'm exhausted and feel unbelievably old. Calories have been cut and Tylenol bottle is empty. Ice maker is constantly running and I smell like old people due to applications of icy hot. Boot camp is kicking my ass. But it has kicked 6 lbs off of my ass in two weeks.
