I did it. I officially quit Raconteur Theatre. Andy told me last night, he thinks Raconteur is going to rue losing me and Brendan, and I think that's true. They don't get it yet, they're probably thinking "good riddance, we don't need you guys around here anyway." But they'll get it when their next show comes around and they don't have any

Well, I will openly say that there is no "will" rue losing you guys. I'm immensely dismayed to be losing both you and Brendan. And with Justin leaving in November I'm even more bummed.

I'm sorry. I do feel bad for you and Suellen, but I can't deal with the rest of them anymore...

Honestly if I were them I wouldn't fret losing us as techies. It's theatre people either show up or step up to get the job done. What worries me more about Racontuer is the bad vibes involved in that group. That in under a year two of the most active people I know of in the theater community (myself included) has decided not to work with this group anymore. That would raise alarms for me.

On the other hand that group is about to go through a change. New people are coming in and to them it will seem like Racontuer has always been that way. It's a theater they are joining so the rules have always been like that.

What got me was that it was never my theater. Oh we tried to run under the guise of democracy, but when the cards were down you and I know who's theatre it was. And if we disagreed we have a power point presentation to show us how ignorant we were.

Sad to say welcome out of the trenches.
