i love this song. it reminds me of the time mallory and i went to pensacola in spring of 2007. we went to the beach and saw ambulette at sluggo's. it was the last time i saw them before they broke up.

i just got back from my family's trip to jacksonville, fl, for my dad's funeral.

oh, also, the new emilana torrini cd -- which i didn't even know was in the works, much less released like two months ago -- is really good.

i remember exactly where i was and who i was with four years ago on election night. i remember being so bewildered, frustrated, and disappointed by the result.

everything this time around was exactly the opposite.
