Okay, this is the first time I have ever actually seen your cats, right there in that picture. I found that weird, I don't know why.

Really? I guess I've posted pictures of them before (used to have an icon until LJ ate half of them) but it was before you were LJ-active. Anyway, yes, there they are!

You look absolutely radiant, and I know you'll be a terrific mother. I hope you know you were an integral part of my story during a very difficult time in my life. You have such a good heart. I'm terrible with comments, but I wish you all the happiness in this world. I can't think of anyone more deserving.

Aww, Mackie. It makes me so happy to hear from you, and to know that our friendship helped you through those tough times. Every December I go through my Christmas ornaments and find the beautiful one you sent me and your wonderful letter, and it just warms me up inside. *hugs* I certainly hope you're right about my potential mothering skills :-) There's so much to think about, but I just try to remind myself that the most basic, important thing is just to love him and make sure he knows we do, and that he deserves it.

I have to laugh a little, going back to these older posts and pictures. I felt so big then, and I was tiny! And I was so remarkably able to move and bend and stuff.

Still blows my mind how much like a "real" baby they look so early on. We have pics from the 11-week ultrasound that went with my CVS, and even there, he's babylike. And yet it takes so much longer for them to be done. (Can you hear the impatience in my 37-week tone? I am ready to no trade pregnancy for motherhood now, thanks!)
