Dammit

Dammit. Just wrote a fairly lengthy post, clicked submit and Firefox crashed. It's crashed three or four times, today; never had it crash on me before.

No time to repost the whole thing ... I have to go and cook roast spuds, Yorkshire pudding and sausagemeat stuffing.

London was grand. Were you working at the Olympia? Sorry to have missed you.

I was at a conference thing from Wednesday until Friday, but the evening were spent enjoying real, brown beer (very few places in Ireland have anything but black beer and yellow beer, and some variable quality red stuff which barely passes for beer). I spent Saturday wandering around town and Sunday in Kew. Turned out I was kind of lucky with the underground, as about half of the system was down by Sunday evening - I remember something similar happening the last time I was in London.
