Well I can heartily recommend Skinny Sumo's Sunday buffet! The food was delicious, varied and copious. I can't believe how much good stuff I ate for just £9! We'll definitely be going back, I think! Well the first night of celebration was pretty good! Wandered around town (the Angel, Langtrys, the Sal via an attempt to get into Speasy which was repulsed by the hordes of very young people filling the place such that we couldn't even get to the bar!) and drank gin. Busy week so far! Tried to do very little on Monday, due to still feeling a bit rough, but yesterday I was very productive. I was also on the radio - that means I've now conquered both BBC Radio Nottingham and BBC Radio Derby! Watched "The Thirteenth Warrior" last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! =)

Also, am continuing on the way to wellness and feel even more like myself today. Shall probably even leave the house for a bit of fresh air later (and to get some blackcurrant jam to put in the ground rice pudding)

Also, I have the best sister in the whole world. Everyone should give her hugs from me whenever they see her! We will be in Sheffield tomorrow night and will be going to Corp. Everyone in Sheffield should use this as a very tenuous excuse to also get out of the house, into the club and dance like drunken fools to cheesy rokk n goff choons! =)

I have been in Brum for 2 days at meetings. It was quite nice to get away from the office and very nice to spend a girly evening drinking tea, eating biscuits and chatting with Emma! Just going to check my work emails so there's no surprises waiting for me when I get back to the office tomorrow...
