Gaah. Am slightly stressed re: upcoming presentation at this year's AOU meeting--only, like, the biggest annual ornithological conference. ( No pressure. )

My sisters are awesome. They just got back from Twin Days, the OFFICIAL TWIN CONVENTION. Yes, it was TwinCon '05. They met in Twinsburg, OH along with several thousand other twins to celebrate twinhood. They were struggling for an idea for their comic sketch, which they were going to perform in the Twin Talent Show. ( And an amazing thing happened. )

Whee! Thanks to canis_m, I am now in possession of my OFFICIAL Birthday Pony, August Breeze. With a little peridot-colored jewel firmly embedded in her flanks, green hair to match, and a healthy ocean-blue glow, she's a total beach babe. In more recent news, this weekend was action-packed with wholesome fanily fun! Went to members' night at the Aquarium, which is always very very cool. I just can't get enough of those touch pools, man. Give me the chance to pet an animal, no matter what it is, and I am THERE. Sea urchins are my FAVORITE.
