Something I don't exactly understand: People who are not (a)Catholic or (b)even somewhat religious "giving up" something for lent. The discussion made it's way around my office yesterday. I just wanted to get this on record so I never forget.

The night Barack Obama came out and accepted the Democratic Presidential nomination, someone finally got the music right.

Every time I hear "City of Blinding Lights" by U2, I smile. It can almost change any mood I am in instantly.
