Got back from my mini-vacation! It was so awesome. I got to relax, and bike, and drink, and play UNO, and sit by the campfire, and listen to a thunderstorm in the tent, and tour a winery, and play mini-golf, and shop, and skip stones on the beach... and pretty much just have a nice time with my sweetie. Mom called me last night. My sister may finally have a job in journalism (what she got her degree in). She's been interviewing for a position in Saginaw, and may have nailed it, from the sounds of it. She's also getting calls from a position in Grand Rapids, and the little coffee shop/deli she works at in Ann Arbor wants her to be shift leader ( Read more... )

So this weekend, S was busy with a family shindig Saturday. I made plans to go to a Tiger's game with Andy, and then afterward maybe see Clerks II with him. It was such a great birthday!!! I got spoiled rotten with presents from S, I had a long leisurely weekend with him and my friends camping, and even though it was hot and muggy, we made the best of it.
