Next week makes it month 9 .

I lasted 8 months!  I want to go home very badly.

Yesterday, my friend Wes, whom I met through training and pretty much the closest friend I have here, took me out to a fancy lunch in Seoul.  We had lunch on the 33rd floor of the Jongno Tower.  The restaurant is called Top Cloud, it was pretty posh and fancy....how I like it!  As soon as we got off the elevator, someone greeted us at the entrance ( Read more... )

so saturday the school held an open seminar for the students and their parents.  they had all of the teachers attend.  it wouldn't have been so bad if wasn't smacked right in the middle of our saturday and if we had gotten paid.  our purpose there was to introduce ourselves and answers questions from the parents.  only one parent had a question.  ( Read more... )

i cooked my first meal yesterday morning.  made breakfast for the newbies, john helped.  we had pancakes (they were a bit salty), scrambled eggs, potatoes, and weird spam-like korean sausages. yesterday was pretty shitty.  thats all i will say about that.

i will be here for one year.  date of arrival May 24th, 2010.
